I used to play my fair share of cRPGs when I was younger, and the Infinity Engine-powered Dungeons & Dragons ones were certainly some of my favorites. I loved going back to the giant tree/town of Kuldahar in Icewind Dale as warm respite from wintery spelunking and slaying of undead hordes, and if you ever ask me about my all-time top video games Planescape: Torment is sure to come up on the short-shortlist.
